Participation in the logo program means that you can:

Increase customer confidence. The Windows Vista logo tells customers that the product is compatible with Windows Vista and will lower support costs, increase customer satisfaction, and be easy to use.

Display your premium value for customers. In a 2004 Microsoft research study, over 76 percent of consumers reported that it was important to them to purchase products that display the "Designed for Windows XP" logo. Products carrying the Windows Vista logo will receive additional benefits through increased customer awareness and perceived value.

List your product in a Microsoft catalog. Your product will be placed on the Windows Tested Products List, Windows Marketplace, or the Windows Server Catalog. As part of their purchasing criteria, small businesses and large corporate customers often require that systems and peripherals pass testing and be listed in the catalogs.
